About Soccer

Welcome to the upcoming recreation season for Charlotte Soccer Academy and Olde Providence Recreation Association.

The recreation program this year will become more integrated under the Charlotte Soccer Academy umbrella as we feel the majority of our upcoming players are coming from the program and it is important that we cater more to the future of our organization. We are very excited about becoming even more involved in OP.

Jamie has had extensive experience working with recreation programs having been the director of the CSC Siskey Y program for several years when it was one of the largest programs in the region.

OP Soccer Recreation Division

• Full service recreation soccer program for boys and girls ages 30 months - U18
• Follow USYS recommendations for most age groups
• All players are registered through NCYSA.  Click Here to access the NCYSA website.
• Skills Days are held before every season to evenly divide teams as much as possible
• Ages from U-10 and younger play all or most of their games at the same location
• Active age group representative for each boy and girl playing division
• Online registration
• All coaches receive a coaching kit that includes game ball, equipment bag, pinnies, cones, etc.
• All players receive a jersey, shorts and socks
• Annual coaches clinic run by Charlotte Soccer Academy (CSA)coaching staff
• All coaches are cleared through NCYSA background check
• Additional training with the CSA coaching staff is available for those seeking the opportunity to advance to challenge and/or classic
• Laws of the Game education for parents
